Who do you teach?
I teach singers of all ages and stages, children, teenagers, adults, and seniors. Whether you're a complete beginner, a hobbyist finding your voice, or a signed artist preparing for auditions, tours, or recording sessions, you’re welcome here.
I also have extensive experience working with neurodivergent students (including ADHD, autistic, dyslexic and dyspraxic learners). As a certified coach for neurodivergent people, specialising in working with musicians, I’m able to adapt lessons to a wide range of learning styles, processing needs, and comfort levels.
Accessibility matters to me. I’m always happy to adjust the pace, structure, and teaching methods so lessons feel supportive and genuinely enjoyable. Teaching primarily online allows many singers, especially busy people, anxious learners and those who feel more regulated at home - to engage more fully and consistently with their voice.
Wherever you’re starting from, I’ll meet you there, with encouragement and the flexibility to help you thrive

What's your approach to teaching?
I believe that music is for everyone, and this belief shapes everything I do. You don’t need previous experience, perfect pitch, or any particular background- just the desire to sing. Every person has a unique voice and a unique reason for wanting to use it, and I honour that individuality in every lesson.
I adapt my teaching to you: your pace, your learning style, and the way your brain naturally works. We learn best when we feel safe, supported, and appreciated for our own strengths, so I aim to create an environment where you feel genuinely seen and encouraged.
Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I weave vocal technique directly into the songs you genuinely love. I teach all contemporary styles -including pop, rock, folk, blues, country, R’n’B, soul, and everything in between - so you’re never asked to sing material that doesn’t resonate with you. No endless scales for the sake of it, and no singing that doesn’t light you up.

Tell me about singing lessons for kids
When I work with children, my aim is to nurture their natural musicality and help them grow a genuine love for singing. Kids learn best when they feel encouraged, safe, and free to explore, so I create an environment where they can express themselves confidently and joyfully.
Many children thrive in online lessons, where they can sing from a familiar space and settle more easily into the session. Lessons are paced carefully, with clear structure and plenty of encouragement, so children feel confident and supported as they learn.
For your peace of mind, I hold an enhanced DBS certificate, full public liability insurance, and I’m a licensed First Aider. I’ve also completed Child Protection Awareness training with the Musicians’ Union.

Do you teach Graded Exams?
I do. I’ve supported children, teenagers, and adults through exams from Grades 1–8 across RSL (Rock School), Trinity Pop & Rock, and LCM. These exams blend vocal technique with performance skills, helping students grow into confident, well-rounded contemporary vocalists. Higher-level grades can also count toward UCAS points.
I hold a Grade 8 with Distinction in Music Theatre Vocals from LCM myself, so I know first-hand the focus and resilience these exams require. There’s never any pressure to take exams-every singer’s path is different-but I’m proud to share that my students have consistently earned merits and distinctions, and more importantly, have found the process fulfilling.

Where and how do singing lessons take place?
All singing lessons are taught online, and I work with singers locally in Kentish Town, as well as across the UK and internationally.
Lessons take place via Google Meet (no software download required), so you can join easily from your browser at home or wherever you feel most comfortable. Teaching online offers flexibility, consistency, and accessibility, and many singers find they engage more deeply with their voice when learning from a familiar, regulated space.
I’ve been teaching online successfully for years, and I structure sessions carefully so they feel focused, connected, and genuinely supportive. This format works especially well for busy schedules, anxious learners, and singers with sensory or neurodivergent needs - while remaining just as effective for anyone seeking high-quality, personalised vocal coaching without the commute.

How much do singing lessons cost?
Lessons are:
£52 for 30 minutes
£87 for 60 minutes
For adults, especially beginners, I usually recommend the full hour so we have time to warm up, explore technique, and make real progress.
A 10% discount is available when you book a prepaid package of six 1-hour lessons (£470 instead of £522). Packages are non-refundable and can be used anytime within one year of purchase.
-

do you offer discounts?
Yes. My prepaid block of six 1-hour lessons comes with a 10% discount (£470 instead of £522).
The 48-hour cancellation policy applies to all lessons within the block. Block bookings are non-refundable, and all lessons must be used within one year of purchase. They’re ideal if you want to commit to your progress while saving along the way.
-

Do you offer gift vouchers?
Absolutely. Gift vouchers are delivered digitally, and you can print them to pop into a card if you wish. They’re simply charged at the standard lesson rate, and the same 48-hour cancellation policy applies.
Gift vouchers are non-refundable and need to be redeemed within one year of purchase. They make a lovely, thoughtful gift for the singer in your life.

Do you have a cancellation policy?
I ask that you invest in your lessons with intention, as all lessons are non-refundable. I follow the industry-standard 48-hour cancellation policy. This means you’re very welcome to reschedule your lesson for any reason up to 48 hours before your lesson start time.
If less notice is given, if a lesson is missed, or if you arrive late, the full fee will still apply. This policy applies in all circumstances, including illness. As lessons are taught online, sessions can often go ahead if you feel well enough, with the usual 48-hour notice required for rescheduling.
This also applies to lessons within block bookings and lessons redeemed with a gift voucher. These boundaries allow me to show up fully for your progress and to honour the time commitments of all my students.
